Pain In Navel After C Section

JESSIE MAE HEMPHILL

I'm sad to inform you all that Jessie Mae has passed away from this world, hopefully thru to the next.
My heart feels like a brick. Jessie Mae was on stage with me just a few months ago and now she is gone. I wanted see her live to enjoy so much more, to know how she has effected so many people throughout the world. No amount of words can express my grief so I've decided to just share the facts with everyone. She had a perforated ulcer and her system became septic. A young man named Mark Coletrain brought her to the hospital when it became obvious she was severely ill. When they arrived the doctors soon determined she needed surgery, or else... She refused the operation. Soon after her next-of-kin arrived from Minnesota but Jessie Mae had become too weak for the operation. She struggled for approx. 12 days and gave in on the 22nd of July, 2006 at approx. 6:45 p.m. I had left her room just 30 minutes before she passed. Fortunately her family was there right to the end.
The day before I spent 2 1/2 hours alone with Jessie Mae and she actually opened her eyes. I told her how much I loved her and asked to blink twice if she understood. She did.
I played my mandolin to her for hours.
The next day my friends, Toni, Janice and I met at the hospital. Janice has been nursing for 35 years and I was glad to have her with me. She helped me understand what exactly was going on. Jessie Mae's family arrived soon after we did and we visited together for quite a while. I soon realized that her family was every bit as special as Jessie Mae, herself.
It seem appropriate to let them be alone so Toni, Janice and I made way. We stopped to eat together. Just as the check came the phone rang and Ruby Hemphill Bonner (Jessie's cousin) called and gave us the news.
The past 24 hours have been vacuous for me. Writing to you all is helping so forgive the length of this message. All I really need to say is how much I appreciate that so many of you have shown her so much love over the years. She became as important to many of you as she Became to me. The family and I, with the help of many close friends, are working out the details for Jessie Mae's memorial service. I will write as soon as we know what's going to happen. I hope anyone who can make it as will.
Be good to the ones you love, Richard Johnston.

receive, and very gladly publish. Aspettando il ritorno di Richrad Johnston in città. Intanto, chi volesse, facci un giro su: www.richardjohnston.com .

Greetings,
I hope you are well and in good spirits. I'm writing from my hotel room in Rome. My time here has been fantastic for so many reasons, mainly due to the great people who put together the tour! I must give special Thanks to Ferdinando, GianLuca, PietroPaolo, and Tony. Last night, as a promotional for the festival, I played on the street for approx 2,000 people in the middle of a plaza named Piazza Immacolata. They made sure that I also had a chance to see the Colosseum, Vatican, Aquaducts, gates to the city, Basilica and eat some of the best food on the planet. Pictures are posted on my site (link). Three more shows to do and I will return from Italy with memories That are beyond words. I've seen the city and the countryside, the rich and the poor, many beautiful contradictions of Italian society and, in the end, I have made Friendships That will last a life-time. All Thanks to Rootsway Mojo Station Blues Festival and Festival.
all, thank you.

II° MOJO STATION BLUES FESTIVAL - ROMA '06

Welcome back and Welcome back. After just over a week the Festival, is back on-line for a short final budget. Have been busy days and coivolgenti. He tried to give the Blues a skyline that the city not been seen. Musicians have come to preview not only nationally, but also European. Besides this fact, specifically "journalism", but has a much more immediate and real. We wanted to offer a festival, that spirit was "Raw & Dirty". And so it was. From Tuesday June 20 in Piazza Immacolata in the district of San Lorenzo on the final date of 24 passing for preview on May 29. Mojo Station for us is not important to have names on the bill booster commercial matters instead propose the real sounds of the Blues of yesterday and today. Away from commercial lures and easy solutions to the box office. And this seems to have been appreciated by the public. In five days of the Festival, we scored more than 1,000 entries. The site www.mojostation.net , despite the lack of updates, had a very considerable upsurge of visits. What for us but more important, and that gives us an extra boost to move forward, was the public response. Alive and passionate, involved and enthusiastic. Thanks therefore to all those who were present. You have been the backbone of an adventure in Blues, which we hope has a sequel in the future.
